The Welsh Academy Encyclopaedia of Wales is published!
17.03.08
After ten years of hard work The Welsh Academy Encyclopaedia of Wales was finally published on 31 January 2008. Editors John Davies, Nigel Jenkins, Menna Baines and Peredur Lynch travelled to bookshops across Wales as readers rushed out to get their hands on a signed copy.

The official launch was held the following day at the Senedd in Cardiff Bay. All four editors were present at this momentous occasion, as well as a host of well–known Welsh faces. Among those who attended were Archbishop of Canterbury Rowan Williams and Presiding Officer at the National Assembly Lord Dafydd Elis–Thomas.
